Mendoza has many options for you to enjoy the passion for fishing and outdoors. If you are on a typical wine tour in Mendoza or in a short business trip, we can offer you different creek styles close to the city you´ll be able to go fishing for the day and also 2 to 4 days fishing trips.

OPTION 1 - DAILY PROGRAM
Fishing close to Mendoza city - Only 90-minute drive.

The outiffter has 20 years of experince guiding experienced and novel fishermen in Mendoza. Currently we are the most experiencied group in the west of the country, receiving people from all over the world. The fishing place is located just an hour and a half drive from Mendoza city, you can fish surrounded by the Andes mountain range in a private Estancia.

The little stream allows only 4 rods a day maximum, so the fishing is exquisite, beautiful mid size Brooks and big Rainbows in a pristine environment, just the sound of the wind and the water. Stealth fishing using dries and nymphs in small spots where the trout is waiting for its prey. You can use strike indicators too or droppers waiting for action under or in top of the surface. A wide range of flies, mayflies nymphs, chironomids and stone flies. Huge hoppers, Blue Duns and classic patterns such as Elk Hair Caddis and Royal Wulffs. We recommend small rods 1, 2 or 3 to enjoy the fishing at its best.

A classic Argentine “Asado” and great wines will be served in addition to the fishing day. The small creek flows trough a beautiful valley. There you can sight huge Condors, Guanacos and Deer in wild scenery.

Included: Professional fly fishing guide, transport to the river and back to your hotel in Mendoza city, snacks on the river, beer, sodas and Argentine fine wine and barbecue lunch (great Argentine asado), fishing tackle, fishing license.
Not included: Flies (available for purchase), imported liquors, clothes, personal insurance and gratuities.

HOW TO GET THERE
Mendoza is located 900 miles west of Buenos Aires. There are daily flights from here to Mendoza airport where a member of the staff will be waiting to drive you to the lodge. Domestic flights can be arranged.
