ARGENTINA DORADO FISHING NEAR BUENOS AIRES CITY
October 16th, 2012 Buenos Aires province, Argentina

The Dorado fishing season start a few days ago and news can´t be better. Paul and Randy Girerfrom Pensilvania booked a daily fishing trip close to Buenos Aires, we went out and bang! More than 20 Dorados hooked, 12 of them landed. The size: from 1 to 7 pounds. Well done Paul, great fisherman. Thanks for booking with us.

ARGENTINA WINGSHOOTING MIXED BAG - DUCK + DOVE + PERDIZ HUNT

This year finally happened. Mr.LeVon Wegner after hunting with us during the last 4 years made his life time trip. On 2011 we decide to invite him becaus of been so many time here. The big surprise was for us: he decide to bring his two sons David and Brad, and his three great sons Isaac, Samuel and Will. Amazing! Togehter with LeVon family, Wally Kirkpatrick and his son Stephen join them. Same happen with Carter Stockton and his son Powell and our friends Harry Datys and Frank Straw. I know they all enjoy the hunting trip and I... enjoy a lot their company. Great peolple!!!

ARGENTINA WINGSHOOTING MIXED BAG - DUCK + DOVE + PERDIZ HUNT

Pablo: I want to thank you for your kindness, concern and sensitivity in helping all of us get home yesterday both safely and on schedule. It would have been an almost impossible task had it not been for your superb care and organizational skills. At each airport, wheelchairs were waiting for me. Airline personnel took us straight through customs and immigration and took care of our baggage. Upon arriving home, my doctor arranged a brain MRI scan which proved normal. Further examination by an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist showed that I somehow have contacted a viral infection which effects the inner ear causing severe dizziness and disorientation. In any case, I am being treated and I should be better 4 to 6 weeks. Once again, thank you for everything. I know everyone in our party had a terrific time. I am looking forward to doing it again, perhaps at the other lodge we discussed.

ARGENTINA WINGSHOOTING MIXED BAG - DUCK + DOVE + PERDIZ HUNT

Dear Pablo,
I am happy to give you my overview of my impressions of my recent hunting experience in Argentina. I will start with the duck hunting in Santa Domingo. I thought the lodge was very comfortable. The staff was top rate as was the food. Although I enjoyed hunting the ducks and believe the limit is more than generous I doubt that I would return for duck hunting. Also, there was only 1 semi-automatic shotgun and I would have preferred a semi-auto over the over/under I shot. While I thoroughly enjoyed my duck hunts better waterfowl hunting is available in Canada. On the other hand, my vocabulary is insufficient to describe the dove hunting experience at Los Laureles. How about unbelievable, fantastic, unimaginable, incredible and absolutely beyond compare. I told Aldo and my friends here that “I thought I had died and gone to heaven. The entire experience was top flight and first rate. I would highly recommend the lodge to any and all of my friends. The staff was professional, friendly, accommodating and outstanding. The lodge is perfect and the hunting is simply amazing. I loved every minute of my time at Los Laureles and hope to return. On a 1 to 10 scale I would give it a 10 plus. I haven’t stopped raving about the lodge since I returned home. If possible I would like a mailing or email address for Aldo so I can send him and the staff a much deserved thanks for making my stay in Argentina so fabulous.

ARGENTINA DUCK HUNTING SEASON
July 10th, 2012 - Entre Rios province, Argentina

The trip exceeded our expectations! Fantastic-hunting, food, service, equipment, hospitality, warmth. Could have not been better. The only days that we did not kill 50 ducks each (with a 20 ga.) was one, first afternoon (hot no wind , killed 18) We had an excellent pigeon hunt (25) the other was when we decided in the afternoon to stay in the lodge and have some drinks. Most am we were done in a min. of 40-min to an hour-- some days 35 min. No drama --all connections and luggage-- perfect Am sending pictures have to send them separate due to being tech challenged. Please feel free to use Terry and I as a reference for other groups. Pablo is the key-on top of everything, cannot express our thanks and satisfaction!!!!! Thanks again

ARGENTINA FREE RANGE RED STAG HUNT

ARGENTINA BIG GAME HUNTING SEASON

Pablo, I want to start by saying THANK YOU very much for a wonder hunt and great time while in Argentina and at the Mapu Lodge. As I told you at the lodge, my wife is very excited to visit and hunt for her own trophies, but remember she can’t get anything bigger than mine! Everybody was very nice and great to be around. I really enjoyed my time with Carlos and Tooky (spelling?) is a wonderful cook. And of course we couldn’t have had a better Host!!!

Lionel Berthaut and Pedro Cavadas. Catena Safaris clients. Probably 2 of the best bow hunters ever visited Argentina. Even they don´t know eachother (one from France and the other from Sapin), they spoke the same languge: hunting. As you can see in the picutres they hunt great trophies. Huge water buffalo, blackbuck antelope and wild boar. This mean Argentina is not only for rifle hunting, big game on the bow is coming more and more popular. We are now waiting you: visit Argentina nd hunt for big game on the bow, I promisse you will enjoy 100%.

DORADO FISHING CLOSE TO BUENOS AIRES CITY

Hi Nacho: I hope this email finds you and your family well. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, but I just wanted to thank you again for such a wonderful trip. Of our trip to Buenos Aires, the day with you and Ruli was the highlight of our week. The two of you showed us such wonderful hospitality - it was the best 'shore lunch' I've ever had on a fishing trip! Thank you for making it such a great day for Helen and Nate. Best of all, I really enjoyed our conversations and fellowship - even the ride to and from BA to San Pedro was a great time. The fact that I caught my first golden dorado on the fly was icing on the cake. If you're ever up in the New York/New Jersey area let me know. I'd love to get you fishing for some striped bass or bluefish on the fly. I'm sending some pictures from the trip along with this email.
